Skribonauti

One of the most isolated and hopeless communities in any country is the community in prisons. As we know, the quality of prisons is one of the factors directly influencing the probability of post-release criminal activity ie. recidivism, which is only secondary, to the argument that prisoners are human beings and have not just rights but needs as well. We are therefore very thankful to the brave women of Skribonauti – a Croatian NGO bringing “autohors to prisons” project, organising prison radio programs, animation workshops, cinemas, book clubs and bibliotherapy. We have collaborated with Skribonauti in measuring their impact, researching and analysing the results of their projects and writing recommendations and suggestions through providing the external evaluation services.
